Birthday Girl
We wanted to do something special for her and hired a children's entertainer to come and do face-painting (or arm painting/tattoos), a magic show and make balloon animals. Jemima got to be the Magician's Assistant and she performed her duties fabulously. I really wish I had the video camera instead of the SLR out yesterday because her reactions were priceless.

Out of action
Bugger, just when I have lots to post about!
My laptop has died a slow painful death over the past week. It started off overheating and shutting itself down and now it won't start up at all. Drew has logged a call with IBM to get them to fix it but I don't know how long it will be in hospital for. I miss it already!
Normally I would just blog from the PC in the study but I have my sister-in-law and niece and nephew staying this week and the study doubles as our spare room. I'll be back on the weekend to update jam sandwiches with some scrapping stuff and a wrap-up of Max's birthday.

A few pics...
I actually haven't taken photos of many of the things I did in the lead up to Paperific. I did photograph the layouts and the birdhouse though so at least there is something to share. The birdhouse is done with the new Sassafras Lass Woodland Whimsy range which is just divine! I'll take the camera to work on saturday and photograph the rest of the stuff.

It's over....

Well Paperific 2008 is over and thank goodness for that! My feet are SO sore after standing on a concrete floor for 3 days. Friday and saturday were so unbelievably busy, there were several times during the day that we had 5-10 people queuing to pay. It was crazy but nice to know that people liked our stuff. Today was quieter whichmade things much harder because once we slowed down, it was harder to find the momentum to keep going.
I'm tired, my house is a mess and I actually have no desire to scrap at all. Thankfully all that work we did before the show paid off and the shop is now full of new products and displays and all of the classes for the rest of the year are planned and I only have 2 things to make. YAY! I'll be back tomorrow to add some pictures of our stand at Paperific and the layouts and projects we did over the past 2 weeks.
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend xxx
