Festival Fun

Our local community festival is on this weekend. We took Max and Jemima down when I finished work this afternoon. Luckily it wasn't too busy and we managed to have a turn on a few rides without having to wait too long. By the time we left it was a very different story. The first ride Max wanted to have a turn on was the Dodgem Cars. He absolutely loves it when he gets to drive with Daddy. Most of the time Andrew wasn't even holding on, Max was doing all the steering, with just a little bit of 'guidance' from Daddy. Jemima kept talking about the big big 'Steering Wheel' (ferris wheel) it was all she could talk about, and everytime we went near it she said she wanted to have a turn. So she did, with Daddy. There was NO way I was getting on it. The height didn't seem to bother her at all, she grinned from ear to ear the whole time she was on it.

We had some yummy Thai food for dinner, watched a fabulous Busker work his magic with the audience and finished off with an amazing fireworks display. Needless to say that Max and Jemima were asleep pretty quickly tonight.

Looks like you had fun at the Knox Festival and how brave was Mima on the Ferris Wheel, she would have loved it. Keely loved the Festival too, we spent lots of our time doing crafty things (she made a horn, wooden car, cat balloon, painted a pot, did a painting) and then we enjoyed some music, eating an icecream, and a few rides. Next year we will all have to go together and enjoy the fireworks. Love you all xxxx

Oops...forgot to add, I love the picture of Max & Mima in the teacup, very cute. Love Mima's top, looks like the Cotton On one we bought the other day.
