Oops, fell off the blogging wagon

I had promised to be back with holiday pics and there are seriously hundreds of them. I still haven't gone through them all properly but I had to share this one. Despite the look on their faces, the kids had a great time on this ride at Seaworld. They went on it more than once.

I managed to get some scrapping done while I was in Brisbane too, I finshed both baby books for Jemima and Max and did a couple of layouts. I haven't photographed them yet though.

I do have some other scrapping to share, I've been busy. This first one is a class I taught at the shop last weekend. I'm getting the hang of Heritage pages, people are even booking in to my classes!

I was blessed with the opportuity to join 3 of my favourite scrapping girls on a delicious girls weekend away, just for scrapping. I can't tell you how nice it was just to sit and scrap without having to pack up at the end of the day. That combined with being with my favourite people and being able to do whatever I wanted without having to think abut classes or Design Team stuff made it the best weekend ever. I did miss the kids, and Drew of course, but it was nice not being responsible for anyone but myself. I managed to finish 11 layouts over the weekend and I've been working on more since I came home. You could say I was in the zone. It's about time!

Here are a few I finished on the weekend. There are another 4 or 5 still to photograph but my camera is playing up so excuse the crappy pics.

We have a Midnight Crop on at The Scrapbook Scene on Saturday May 23rd from 9.30am - Midnight. I plan on scrapping up a storm once the shop is closed and I get to sit down. Come along and join in some scrpaping fun if you're free.

Bet you didn't even miss us...

  • We've been in Brisbane for 2 weeks to visit Jan, Col, Ella and Hudson. It's our annual pilgrimage and a delightful drive with 2 children. Delightful....
  • I've been scrapping. I had the opportunity to see Flourish in person. I got to go shopping at Print Blocks...WHOLESALE!
  • The kids had a fabulous time with their cousins and Aunt and Uncle and we all had a lovely mini-break at Caloundra over Easter together.
  • I have a thousand photos to go through...seriously.
  • After being home less than 12 hours, Drew jetted off to Malaysia for work so the holiday is well and truly over.
  • The cat missed us so much that she has let Jemima pat her and even sat on my lap...Miracle!
  • Our photos from Rachel Richter arrived while we were away and they are gorgeous.
  • I'll be back tomorrow hopefully with some more pictures and a proper post.

50 Questions

I saw this on Dani's blog and I'm bored to I thought I'd bore you all to death with my answers.

50 Questions

1. If your doctor told you TODAY that you were pregnant, what would you say? I would say it wasn't mine. There is no way no how I could be pregnant.

2. Do you trust all of your friends? Hmmm......I think so.If I didn't trust them it would be pretty hard to be friends with them. Aquaintances yes but not friends. I have a few Aquaintances I don't trust and that's why they'll always stay at arms length.

3. Would you move to another state or country to be with the one you love? Yes. I hope I didn't have to do it but if I did I hope it's to somewhere nice with good shopping.

4. Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? I guess that's one way to rationalise when things happen but sometimes it's hard to comprehend what the reason could be at the time. What possible reason could there be for people to suffer or for children to have terminal illnesses?

5. Can you make a dollar in change right now? Yep.

Wednesday Waffling

I've been scrapping the last few nights with the new papers from Cosmo Cricket. Boy do I love their papers. They've just released 4 new ranges and I am in love every one of them. I've even managed to dig out some photos from the 'must scrap' pile rather than using new/recent photos so that felt rather good. I plan on scrapping again tonight and doing some layouts for Flourish with the same papers. The only range I have yet to play with is 'Girl Friday' so that one is first on the list.

And in other news...

I have just had my very first layout published in a magazine. Issue 64 of Scrapbook Creations, page 94. Felicity's layout is on the opposite page to mine. Yay Flick! They spelt my surname wrong but I'm too excited to care!

Back later...

I have some layouts to show and some news to share. Time for the morning rush so I'll be back later with photos.

Have a great day xx
