Coles Supermarkets are donating the profits from all sales on friday February 13th to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal. If you need groceries, please make sure you support Coles in the effort to raise as much money as possible
Melly and Me are holding a silent auction for some of their gorgeous creations with all proceeds going to the Red Cross. Check out Mad Mozzie.
The RSPCA is calling for pillowcases, green shopping bags, leads, pet food etc... as they struggle to deal with the amount of injured wildlife who have been caught in the fires. The image of 'Sam' the koala and the CFA officer who rescued him is one of the most amazing pictures I have ever seen.
The Scrapbook Scene will be holding a special Crop for Bushfire Relief on Saturday March 28th. Check the Blog for details. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

Beautiful words Sharon. I had a good cry about it today. Just hearing about a couple of stories it just broke my heart. I vision people in terror and it makes me just want to grab the kids and give them a huge squeeze and tell them I love them so much. For rest of my life I will never forget this.
Its just so frighteningly awful isn't it? We have offered our spare room up for someone who needs it as soon as the mother-in-law goes home to England on Sat. We were going to rent it out but now, with all this going on, it seems like its just something small we can offer to some poor soul who doesn't have a roof over their head at the moment.
We've been watching the scenes of the terrible devastation over here - and there have been many stories about how the Aussie firemen came to the US to help with the California fires last year and the year before. We have been very touched by what we've seen - all so tragic and such a waste of life. I was very glad to read on your blog how we can help all the way from over here - thank you for giving us so many choices of ways to help!!
